Destination Attractions

Cebu is a large island in the Visayas Region of the Philippines. The larger Negros Island lies just across the Tanon strait to the west.

The largest city (and the oldest in the Philippines) is Cebu City, often called the Queen City of the South.

Cebu is a good place to relax, enjoy and discover. For those who want some more adventure, Cebu, with its world-class beaches and rich marine life offers water sports activities such as diving, snorkeling, kiteboarding, windsurfing, etc. Trips to see all the historical spots, beautiful churches, fishing villages and the amazing waterfalls and springs scattered around the island are also being offered.

The climate is warm, generally 23 to 33 degrees Celsius. Rainfall is evenly distributed throughout the year, except for the summer months from March to May which are dry.

Beaches, coral atolls, islands and rich fishing grounds surround Cebu.

Cebu's central location, proximity to unusually exotic tourist destinations, ready access to a diversity of plant, animal and geological wonders within the island, and remoteness from earthquake and typhoon activity are some of the special attributes why Cebu is preferred by local and foreign tourists.

For guests who want to explore more of Cebu, optional activities are available and can be arranged:

Countryside Tour and City Tour

Range from a couple of hours to full day excursions.  It's an excellent way for guests to experience the local countryside and culture of Northern Cebu at close quarters and to get a dose of Cebu City's historical landmarks such as the Magellan's Cross, Basilica Minore del Sto. Nino and Fort San Pedro.

Mainit Hot Spring

Approximately 20-minutes drive from the resort.  Tour packages are available at the Front Desk.

Nearby Golf Courses

Two golf courses are less than an hour’s drive away.

Mercedes Golf Course is located in the middle of a sugar cane plantation. A par 72 course designed by Frankie Miñoza, the Philippines’ most famous professional golfer and golf course designer, Mercedes has mostly flat, wide fairways. It has its own driving range and ample facilities. Suitable for all levels.

Club Filipino is a member of the Prestigious Golf Courses of Cebu. With a rating of 73 by the United States Golf Association it is a more challenging course than Mercedes, because it is located along the more rugged countryside.
